South Korea Trip Snapshot
DATES/CITIES:

ACTIVITY LEVEL:
4/5. Hiking is one of top hobbies in Korea, as 70% of the terrain is mountainous. There will be easy to moderate hikes and occasionally steep steps. And lots of walking!

LODGING:
Seoul: Modern, highly rated hostel in the Itaewon area, which is Seoul's international district. We'll be taking over two dorm rooms. Twin beds.
Jeju: If the tour doesn't sell out, we'll be staying at another highly rated hostel either in Jeju City or Seogwipo. If the tour does sell out... we'll be staying at a four-bedroom hotel penthouse suite in Seogwipo. The penthouse has four queen beds and two single beds.
ACTIVITIES:
(Activities are subject to change due to weather, political climate, and availability. But I assure you, you'll be kept busy.)
TRIP COSTS INCLUDE:
It does not include airfare to South Korea, although I am happy to help you arrange your flights for free.
(Note: the costs for the seafood dinner at the fish market will be divided evenly amongst the group and is not included.)
OPTIONAL TRIP EXTENSION:
For those open to staying in Korea a couple extra days, there is an additional trip extension available to Mt. Naejangsan. Naejangsan is the most famous spot in Korea to view autumn's foliage and is absolutely spectacular. On the afternoon of November 2nd, we will head to Jeonju, Korea's food capital, where we will spend the night. Early November 3rd, we'll head to Naejangsan for the day, heading back to Seoul that evening.
This portion will be provided at cost, which will be determined closer to the tour date, based on the number of participants. Reach out to me after booking the trip if interested.

$1500, 6 installments
$250 Deposit (to reserve your spot in the trip)
$250 5 monthly payments, to be collected on the 15th of every month until fully paid

- Welcome dinner
- Escape Room
- Demilitarized Zone Tour... which is ironically the the most heavily militarized border in the world. This full-day tour includes the Joint Security Area, where you can cross the line of demarcation into North Korea.
- Gyeongbokgung Palace
- Changdeokgung Palace, including the breathtaking Secret Garden, which is only accessible by tour
- Noryangjin Fish Market, we will comb the market to select our fresh seafood and go to one of the restaurants upstairs where they will prepare our feast. Do you dare try the live octopus?
- Bukchon Hanok Village, a step back in time as you walk through narrow streets lined with traditional Korean houses
- Halloween Party Cruise (to be confirmed), all-you-can-drink dance party with a fireworks show
- Nami Island, a picturesque destination that Korean Drama lovers know well. Did I mention we'll be ziplining to the island? (Alternatively, you have the option to take the ferry.) You can rent bicycles or segways to traverse this small piece of paradise.
- Jeju Island Exploration, known as "Korea's Hawaii," we'll be taking a two-day private tour through an impressive array of sites including Cheonjeyeon Falls, Spirited Garden, Mt. Sanbang, Sunrise peak, Manjang Cave, and Mt. Hallasan National Park, where we will take a short, easy trek to the summit of Eoseungsaengak
- Jeju Love Land, the infamous sex theme park. The things I witnessed last time...
- Shopping in Insa-dong, Namdaemun traditional market, and Myeong-dong
- Clubbing, Gangnam Style
- And if you're not absolutely exhausted after all of the above activities, there's lots of nightlife and karaoke to be had in Itaewon and Hongdae
